New Contact Lens for Keratoconus
I have been wearing rigid Gas Permeable contact lenses because I have Keratoconus, and cannot get sharp vision with soft contact lenses. My gas permeable lenses had started to become very uncomfortable, and my eyes were constantly red throughout the day. I was looking for contacts that had better comfort, but still had excellent vision. When Dr. Miller told me about the new ICD 16-5 contact lens for treating Keratoconus, I was ecstatic about the opportunity to try them out. Since he fitted me in June, my eyes are no longer red and I cannot even feel that I have contact lenses in my eyes. The comfort is excellent and my vision is equal to my old gas permeable contacts lenses!!
I am VERY happy. Thank you Dr. Miller!! For anyone who has Keratoconus, or who has trouble wearing gas permeable contacts, I highly recommend that you give these lenses a try.
